Item #12444
After the Nazis came to power in the early 1930s a strong pacifism movement rose up in the US, Britain and France. Their Goal: Peace at any price. This movement helped to keep military forces from these countries from going to war with Nazi Germany when Hitler began to rearm in violation of the Versailles Treaty. To help attain this goal, anit war propaganda were printed and distributed. Consequently instead of a small preemptive war with Germany the largest war in world history took place. The cost of peace at any price: 61 million lives.
The magazine is in over all fair condition, the front cover is loose; rear cover is missing, damage to top right corners of pages. All photographs are clear. It is 32 pages over all and was published in the US in 1939.
