Signed copies of Col. Slanes exciting biography of his exploits as a WWII B-17 pilot over Europe with the 8th Air Corps, 91st Bomb Group / 401st Bomb Squadron. Despite heavy damage and the loss of his tail gunner,his aircraft and Col. Slane managed to bring the remainder of his crew bback from the infamous Schweinfurt Raid of 14 October 1943. He was later shot down and spent the remainder of the war as a POW in Stalag Luft III. Well written, 283 pages, illustrated.
