BLK-0002, P1821 Royal Cavalry Officer's Sword

This item is listed for historical interest only. It is not for sale.
Item #17578

This is a sword in fair to good condition. The sword it self is in fair to good condition. The sword has beautiful engraving to the blade with the 17th Lancers inscription to the blade. The sword was manufactured by Landon and Morland 17 Jermy's in London which dated the sword between 1848 and 1857. The flaws to this sword is that there is some light pitting and an overall dark patina. Additionally the basket has one of the there tines missing. It appears to have had a flaw in the metal casting and has broken off long ago. Also included is the original leather scabbard which is missing the tip and comes with a reproduction hanger.
