BWD-0003 WWII British No.1 MkIII Enfield Rifle (DEMILLED - Nonfunctioning)

This item is listed for historical interest only. It is not for sale.
Item #17517

Good+ example of this classic workhorse of the British Army in WWI. Many of these saw continued service up and into WWII. This rifle has an unreadable date due to some corrosion on the strap that hold the MFG and date information. However you can still tell that it was MFG by BSA, Co (Birmingham Small Arms, Co). Additionally, it has a blank stock disc on the butt. On the opposite side it has painting for some kind of rack number or description. Then below It has been internally deactivated to BATF Specs and can never be made to fire again. However it looks and feels like a live rifle: bolt functions, you can dry fire it, safety works, Mag is removable, it will mount a bayonet etc. It looks and feels like a live rifle. It will show use and some age but is over a good – VG example.
