Item #18395
Good+ example of this classic workhorse of the British Army in WWI. Many of these saw continued service up and into WWII. This rifle has a 1918 date and it was MFG by BSA, Co (Birmingham Small Arms, Co). On the right side of the gun it has the letters DP carved into the stock as at some point, most likely post WWII these rifles were made into drill purpose rifles for training purposes. Then below It has been internally deactivated to BATF Specs and can never be made to fire again. However it looks and feels like a live rifle: bolt functions, you can dry fire it, safety works, Mag is removable, it will mount a bayonet etc. It looks and feels like a live rifle. It will show use and some age but is over a good example.
