GH-382 WWII German Army reversible winter camo hood (Kopfhaube).
Item #13207
This is an excellent example of a WWII German reversible camo hood or a (Kopfhaube). This particular hood is depicted and described in "Uniforms & Traditions of the German Army" by John Angolia on page 230. "Hood: the reversible hood (Kappe or Kopfhaube) was usually made without an internal layer and cut in the form of a head with a wide collar face, and had prolonged neck flaps reaching to the opposite side of the neck." Camouflage hood is lined and slightly padded and is in the "splinter camo pattern." This particular hood is in good condition with some light staining to the exterior and about 10 pin hole sized holes. The interior is white but has yellowed a bit and has some age staining/ spotting. There is one small tear/ hole in the interior lining. However the overall condition is good to very good!
