RDF-0002 Cold War Era Soviet Navy (Experimental) 57mm bazooka/ Recoil-less rifle

Item #22713

This is a very interesting Soviet Navy experimental bazooka/ Recoil-less rifle.  The tube is approximately 44" long and 57mm inside diameter.  The tube is typical Soviet construction but is unique as it has a wooden board for the shoulder attached to the bottom of the tube.  The trigger to fire the tube is on top.  The interesting thing and one of the qualities that make it unique to the Navy is that the whole casing for the firing mechanism is made of brass.  The trigger still pulls but the firing mechanism is no longer functioning due to the demil process.  The tube is dated 1962 and model marked 3A-28 with a serial number of 590.  The overall condition is good with the majority of wear to the wood which is light and mainly due to storage wear.  This is a very cool piece and would add to any Soviet Navy collection or Vietnam/ Cold War Soviet collection.
