FR-677, WWII Japanese Type I Carcano Rifle (demilled, non-functional).

This item is listed for historical interest only. It is not for sale.
Item #19464

These rifles were built by the Italians for the Japanese Government in 1938-1939 due to the heavy demand placed on Arisaka production. This gun employs a slightly altered Carcano bolt and receiver, a Japanese stock sights and hardware which is very similar to the Type 38 Arisaka rifle (including the two piece butt stock). This rifle also accepts a standard Japanese Arisaka Bayonet. These were used in by all services but saw service especially with the Japanese Naval Landing Force and Base Defense Forces. The rifle is in very good condition other than your usual stock dings and wear from average service use. The bolt functions as normal but can not accept ammunition and has been permanently altered as a display rifle.
