This item is listed for historical interest only. It is not for sale.
Item #16353

Manufactured by the Eltz Firm circa 1939. This was the military version of the civilian radio produced by this firm. It is the type carried in the main radio room on U-boats and was used to broadcast music, political speeches, news, etc. Through a series of speakers on the boat to entertain the crew. These are fairly rare and are virtually the only U-Boat related radios to be found outside of a museum. External condition is Very Good and it had the "Hersteiler BO" issue tag on the bottom of the case. It is approximately 13.8 inches by 9.4 inches x 6.7 inches and weights approximately 22 pounds. Internally it looks functional and complete, but since it lacks its power cord, we don't know if it functions.
