This is a great difficult to find Land Customs Officer Dagger by Alcoso! This dagger has a great bright blade with only minor scabbard wear. The acid etched “Alcoso ACS Solingen” maker mark looks great! The tip is perfect. The blade rates Exc/Exc+. The original buffer pad remains intact. The scabbard has full leather coverage with silver finish fittings. The fittings do present some rust through the silver finish and a slight amount of wear. The center band is also missing the retaining screw however it is not loose on the scabbard. The front of the leather portion of the scabbard does exhibit some use wear but does not detract from the overall appearance. This dagger has aluminum hilt fittings with upswept enhanced eagle wings. The unique Customs ferule again has the correct leaf pattern. The unique Customs pommel with acanthus leaves is matching in tone and patina. The leathered grip is in great shape and correctly wire wrapped with springy twisted wire. Nice detail to the hilt! This dagger is priced to sell so do not let this one pass you by!
