The Third Reich produced a large number of edge weapons for all types of organizations. This particular bayonet is well worn and was probably a tackle box knife. It has been used and abused. The bayonet button is missing and the grip is cracked and part is missing. The entire bayonet has been painted orange (evidently someone really did not want to loose this in the forest) and the blade has been sharpened. We are only listing this as a novelty item, it is original but just about as far away from original condition as one could imagine. Sold as is.
