GWK-0089 Post WWII (1946-1947) German SA Dagger (Reproduction Mfg by B&A)

This item is listed for historical interest only. It is not for sale.
Item #21283

These Post WWII German SA Daggers were manufactured by B&A after the war as souvenirs for US soldiers. In most cases these were produced using original wartime produced parts. The original parts consisted of the “SA” roundel, the eagle on the grip, and the cross guards at the top and bottom of the grip. It is not known if the blades were original WWII production or not, as they are very well made and even have the cross graining to the blade. This particular blade is in fair condition as it has a fair amount of light fringer print rust marks (dark areas) to the blade. It does retain the “Ulles fur Deutchland” on the front of the blade with the original darkened color. The reverse has a circle with a cross and B&A twice, below the circle “Solingen” and below that it is marked Germany. The handle is wood but coated in plastic. Overall a neat part of history as it was made post war as a souvenirs for US soldiers
