GWP-0076-KN German Propaganda Leaflet #829 Well Fed
Item #29051
Original World War 2 German leaflet dropped on Soviet forces on the eastern front. These are dated 1943 and have a number corresponding to a series. On the top it is titled "What your comrades say" in Russian. The text speaks of how shocked Red Army soldiers were when they saw the great conditions in Germany. It continues with anti-Semitic rhetoric of Jews just want soldiers to die so that Jews could be nice, warm and comfortable. The pass also mentions the Russian Liberation Army and various similar groups as well as the Wehrmacht will take all/any Soviet forces for surrender. At the end the leaflet says you do not need a leaflet just raise your hands and say "Stalin kaput" or "Guns to the Earth!"
This particular leaflet is number "829/XII. 1943"
The photo on the back roughly translates to "True life in German captivity" and the text on bottom being about how Soviet captives get shipments of goods for themselves.
