JWK-0040 WWII Japanese NCO Samurai Sword
|
This item is listed for historical interest only. It is not for sale.

Item #24781
This is an excellent Japanese WWII NCO Samurai Sword. These swords were made to closely resemble
the original Samurai Swords and the swords that officers carried except they
had a cast steel grip and were mass produced with serial numbers. This sword
was made by Suya Shōten Co. Ltd with To inspection stamp and the stamp of Tokyo
Kokura Arsenal. This one is number
matching sword to scabbard with a serial number of 20432. The condition is fairly nice with only light scabbard
staining/ wear on the blade and most of the paint still remaining on the
scabbard. The handle also still retains
approximately 60% of its original finish.
Overall nice sword
