Item #17058
During WWII a number of phantom or ghost divisions and corps were set up in order to deceive the enemy of the size or locations of troop build up. These phantom divisions and corps were only staffed by a minimal amount of troops to create the illusion of a full functioning Army corps. They created fake radio traffic, orders, troop movements and supply systems for these corps.
