The encolsed items are original relics recovered from the Ypress Battlefield in Flanders Belgium. The area was hotly contested during the war. Over 800,000 soldiers from various countries were killed or wounded in this area. Items are: 1) Shrapnel balls 2) Briitsh .303 cartridge casing 3) British .303 bullet 4) German Mauser Rifle Clip 5) Copper driving band for artillery shell 6) Brass shell casing fragment
