The PPS and its variants were used extensively by the Red Army during World War II and were later adopted by the armed forces of several countries of the former Warsaw Pact as well as its many African and Asian allies. This is a Finnish copy of the Pps-43. This includes the drum magazine. The magazine's feed lips have been grounded down and can no longer hold any cartridges. the bolt is welded in the closed position and does not move. The drum can be removed and inserted.
