The blade is clean with a decent motto (Work Enables) and shows scabbard wear with light surface scratching. The nickel silver fittings have a nice darkened patina which could be cleaned if desired. The stag horn grips are undamaged and have an attractive grain. The scabbard paint is approximately 75% with some wear spots and a few rust spots (mainly on the back side). Scabbard fittings (also nickel silver) are equally tarnished. The tip has a couple small dings. Comes with rare leather hanger whcih is complete it is Assman and Sons marked along with the RAD approval stamp and a 1937 date. The leather is solid and has some crazing. 60% of the felt backing has worn off. A nice Hewer!
