This is in overall good, serviceable, used condition. This is a 10 inch blade with minor nicks to the edge. This is stamped on the ricasso "UC" (Utica Cutlery), ordinance bomb insignia, and dated 1942. On the reverse is stamped "PAL-MOD" for their conversion of the 16 inch 1903 bayonet cut down to 10 inches for the M1 Garand. The bayonet retention mechanism is stiff functional and moves freely. The bakelite grips are in excellent shape. The scabbard has a non reinforced tip and is in good condition with some paint wear and is stamped with the US ordinance bomb.
