GU-327, WWII German Kriegsmarine rare white work uniform.
Item #16283
This is an excellent Kriegsmarine enlisted sailor's white work uniform as seen on page 398 and 399 of "Die Kriegsmarine" by John Angolia. This is a really nice uniform with white tackle shirt and standard white uniform trousers for the drill type work shirt. It has metal cuffs buttons and a cord closure for the chest. Back of the collar is dated 1939 and has the manufacturers insignia. Chest size is 40" and made to be worn tight. The shirt is a heavy white muslin and has only very minor yellowing of the fabric. The trousers are the white long trousers of sailors and ncos. Size is 30" waist by 30" inseam. They are the standard uniform type with bib style front and have metal dish buttons. The trousers are the same type of material as above however they have yellowed a bit more than the top but does not detract. This is a great set, in overall excellent+ condition and incredibly rare to find.
