VG example of a private purchase hat having a salty fold to the brim. There is no hat ribbon, however it has the rare purple (machine gun co.) hat cord which is worn and in fair – good condition. Leather sweat band is worn but in good – VG condition. I can just see some cocky young regular Army corporal wearing this in the Philippines just before the War! Approx size 7 ¼.
