This is an extremely rare piece. An original WWII US Army C ration can B unit (1941 dated). These were food rations so they were used up normally and were not usually saved so to find an original C ration can that is dated September of 1941 is amazing. The can is unopened and still retains its original key opener. This ration can is made up of the following; 1 2.5 oz biscuit, 1 1.0 oz confection, 1 .50 oz sugar, and 1 .25 oz soluble coffee. The can was manufactured by George Weston Limited in Salamanca, NY. Great and rare item that is hardly ever seen especially being made three months before the US entered the war.
