Item #22171
This Seattle newspaper records the Lindbergh flight from New York to Paris, a solo nonstop flight that launched him into fame. His record put him in as 33 hours and 30 minutes to travel 3600 miles, an amazing feat. Other articles include "10,000 Race for Safety from Flood" and "Paris Flight By Bellanca, Plane is 'Off.'" A fine secondary source for students to use in their essays teachers to instruct writing or history authors writing a book and needing more sources ideas and for the collector that wants to add another fine piece to their collection. With Charles Lindbergh smiling on the front cover photo and the US flag in the background of the Newspaper name, this would look wonderful if framed in one's living room or room.
