UKG-0020 Korean War Era US Army M1952 Field Desk

This is a M1952 Field Desk that is in relatively good condition.  It shows moderate storage age, but very little wear from use.  The "side" of the wooden and medal crate shows wear because it was the "bottom" of the desk.  Also, someone in the past either used it as a workbench while spraypainting with red spray paint, or intended to spray part of the "top" red, we don't know. Also, the top left drawy has been modified, a knob was added, broke off, and anotherone added, also a lock (with key) was added to the front of the drawer.  Also, the bottom left draw was repainted in a bright green color.   Otherwise, this is a great looking item that bears most of its original paint and markings.  Bonus, this one has the stool that goes with it.  It has a Texas maker's label on the bottom.  We are not positive this is the original stool for the desk, but it seems to fit.  The paint on the stool is just too good, and does not match the wear to the rest of the desk.   SHIPPING COSTS WILL BE HIGH.  Dimensions of the crate are 28 inches by 24 inches by 18 inches and it weights approximately 90 pounds.  The last one we shipped cost $90.00 via UPS Ground.
