This is a very good example, manufactured by Emerson and silver-Trenton. Dated 1863 (marked as such on ricasso.) Blade and guard have matching inspector stamps (DFM). Steel scabbard is blued and has some light surface rust/spotting. Brass drag is dented and worn. All other fittings are in very good condition. Approximately 32 inch blade is bright but spotty, mostly discolored in a few spots of minor rust. Nice sword.
