WW I US Army M1918 Enlisted Man's Tunic
Item #8256
This enlisted man's tunic with infantry collar brass is a good example. Has moth damage to left sleeve. Has a September 1918 dated contract tag. Complete with all buttons. Approximately size 36 to 38. Left sleeve has moderate mothing on the front and heavy mothing on the back. Extra material is available in the seam so that it could be repaired. These 1918 tunics are uncommon. Has red felt disc under infantry disk. Unknown significance. Has discharge chevron on left sleeve and evidence of a shoulder patch on the left shoulder. Some substance was transfered onto the inside of the right sleeve that has stiffened the fabric a bit.
