All items identified to Private Leif M. Dahl, Battery A, 69th Artillery. He served from March 1918 to March 1919 and was in the A.E.F. from Aug 1918 Feb 1919.
Grouping consists of:
1) Enlistedmans tunic size 40L with 1917 San Francisco contract label. It is VG, no apparent mothing. Lining is U.S. marked and has his SE#. Liner is soiled which indicated he may have worn this while serving in France. It has a nice 1st Army Artillery patch, Victory Ribbon and State Victory Ribbon, Discharge and Overseas Stripes and correct collar discs. Has some light staining on the front, partially hidden by button.
2) Gas Mask. Standard US mask in nicely marked case. Case is Good VG, mask inside is Fair Good and is complete with log book repair kit.
3) Documents: Honorable Discharge document, Certificate of Naturalization (he was born in Norway), truck driving training certificate for Artillery tractor, CCC discharge and more.
