10 Gauge; good bore, good grips, 6'' barrel, Marked on top of the barrel 'Signal Pistol Mark 5 R.F. Sedgley, Inc. 1944'. Drawing number on the right side of the frame. Seems to be in Excellent mechanical condition. The finish shows some use.  The R.F. Sedgley Company manufactured several different models of flare pistols for the government during WW2.  All models exhibit beautiful design and workmanship.  This sample is dated 1944, and was originally marked USN on the hard ruber grip,but the the U and the N have been rubbed out, leaving S.  Pistol, excellent.  Holster, Fair.
