This is an excellent grouping of a WWII US Army Medics set with contents! The field gear set includes the two medics bags which are unmarked and undated as usual, along with the should harness and the two bag connector straps. The contents are all original except for three items. The three items are two reproduction morphine syrette in the cardboard boxes along with a reproduction Medical Tag (casualty tag book). Everything else is original in the bag. Items within the bag include the following (all boxes are full and complete with contents); 9 paper wrapped gauze bandage (field brown), 8 camouflaged first aid field dressings in cardboard box, a complete box of 6 iodine swabs (unopened), one box of ammonia inhalant solution aromatic, one box of burn treatment, one box of eye dressing first aid kit, two separate boxes with one "Syringe, urethral, prophylaxis" glass syringe in each box, one large box with 12 smaller bandages, gauze roller within. Also included are 6 plastic pill tubes (to carry pills) which are empty, medical department tin (empty), one glass alcohol vial with fitted metal cup (unfortunately empty), 6 original "green oak" cards with 12 safety pins in original wrapper, two bandage scissors still sealed in original paper foil wrapper, one tourniquet in paper wrapper, two male suspension wound pouches (to support or pull male body part away from wound area), one 1" yard "Bay's" plaster adhesive roll. Lastly one numbered medics armband that is stamped "minister de la Guerre." Awesome complete medics grouping!!
