This is a WWII US Army M1 carbine hip holster designed to allow a soldier to carry the carbine on his hip. This style was less common than the parachutist hip holster, this holster was produced in 1943 only and manufactured by LUB Production Co. A nice accessory for display with your carbine collection. Rarely seen, this one looks unissued with only minor storage wear/ age. Reference PG 155 "U.S. M1 Carbines Wartime Production" By Craig Riesch. Condition NOS.
