UWH-0036, WWII-Korean war US Army Helmet liner and net

This item is listed for historical interest only. It is not for sale.
Item #18674

This is a great WWII-Korean war US Army Helmet liner and net. The helmet itself is a front seam swivel bale helmet. So it dates to mid WWII but appears to have been repainted post WWII to the typical slightly lighter green color. The web chinstraps are post war replacements as well. The helmet net is also typical WWII construction. The liner is original WWII made by Firestone. The exterior of the liner is unpainted and is just the raw wood color. The only fault of the liner is that the nape strap in the back of the liner is loose on one end where it has pulled out from the “A frame” piece holding it on. Otherwise an extremely nice liner with a post war sweatband. Also an original WWII leather chinstrap attached to the liner.
