UWH-0142 Postwar US Tanker's Helmet with Comms

Very Good condition. overall.  Shows light age and wear.  Retains almost all of the original paint.  Looks like there was once a sticker or label on the front that has been removed.  Comms are marked 'Astrocom' and 'SA-1552/G'.  Microphone is marked 'M138/G'.  Cord is marked 'ASTROCOM CORD ASS-Y CX-10453/G'.  Helmet suspension is in Very Good, used condition.  Shows light use and sweat stains.  The forehead leather strap may have been recovered or replaced, but the first letter of the name underneath is readable as 'E".  This might have been Elvis Presley's helmet?
