UWK-0016 WWII USMC Mark II knife, MFG by Camillus

This item is listed for historical interest only. It is not for sale.
Item #18023

WWII USMC Mark II knife, MFG by Camillus. This is a great knife that is in amazing condition. It is very clearly marked USMC and Camillus, NY on the crossguard. There is approximately 50 to 60% of the original bluing to the blade which is amazing for these knives as they always seem well used. There are no nicks or damage to the cutting edge of the blade. There are a few very minor dings to the spine, but they do not detract from the overall appearance. The leather grip is in superb condition with only very minor wear. The original scabbard is also in amazing condition. The leather is still soft and flexible for the most part. No real staining or damage to the scabbard. There is only some vertigris on the staples and the brass snap and stud for the keeper at the top. Otherwise scabbard only presents minor age. On the back there is 240 written in pen, but is very small. Overall great condition and a knife which is getting difficult to find.
