This is a M1905 10" M1 Garand rifle bayonet that was produced by Oneida Limited (OL).  This bayonet is in Fair+ condition and looks like the bayonet and scabbard have that "been there, done that" feel to them.  The bayonet has a 1943 date stamp.  The cutting edge shows a fair amount of use, but no dramatic dings or nicks. The grip shows moderate use and wear.  Heavy patina overall, especially to the blade, but no on the blade.  There is moderate pitting to the crossguard and to the grip.  The scabbard is also Fair with moderate use and wear marks.  Looks like the entire scabbard was repainted, since the throat piece is the same color as the scabbard.  This repaint has been worn down with chips to the repaint and patina showing through.  The ordnance bomb markings show through the repaint.  Overall shows decent example that shows honest use.  This was originally manufactured as a 10 inch, not a cut down 16 inch.
