This is a excellent condition wool WWII Era US Secretary of the Navy flag.  The individual that we received the flag from said it came off of the USS Intrepid after WWII.  The flag has several small moth holes none larger than a 1/8" in size.  The white sections of the flag are machine sewn to the flag with unfinished edges that are sewn down.  The only issue with the flag in the bottom corner of the flag shows from fraying that is about 1/2" long.  The white field is marked with a stencil "SEC.  NAVY" then hand written 64.  See the pictures.  The flag size is 61" by 43".  An amazing Secretary of the Navy Flag!
