Item #22554
This is a beautiful US Navy Size 6 Ensign flag that was recovered and brought home by Keith Lampson who was a WWII US Navy veteran. This flag was purchased from his estate and was stated that the flag flew on the destroyer that he served on. The family stated that his destroyer was based out of Pearl Harbor, late in the war. The flag size is approximately 9' by 17' which is correct for a Ensign number 6 flag. The flag is in very good condition overall with only some very minor mothing light staining and some minor wear from use. The flag was made by Valley Forge Flag company and is marked US Ensign 6. Overall a very nice flag and probably one of the largest flags that we have ever had at the store.
