Item #17538
This is a rare poster printed by General Cable Corp. The text reads "Dare you to say or think you do not feel the bullet that has pierced the flesh of him who fought so gallantly, with fiery zeal, while thinking not of loss of life or limb? Dare you deny to those who enter hell, for war is hell for all our fighting crew, the hours of sticking on your job? Think well-for-if you dar, then we are lost
and you!" Approximately 35 inches by 26 1/2 inches. Good condition. Dated 1943. Has light edge tattering especially along the right side middle. The poster has had archive tape applied to the back along the edge with tattering. Along this edge there are three rips about 1" long that have had the archive tape applied to along the back. There are several pin holes.on the corners where it was pinned to the wall for display and the lower right corner has just the very edge torn off. All of the damage can easily be framed over so it will not show. This poster was never folded and has always been rolled.
