Item #29759
Westclox "Waralarm" first pattern wartime alarm clock with buzzer. Case is pressed wood fiber. manufactured from April of 1943 to very early 1944. Clock and alarm both still function although clock winder needs gentle touch. Very good overall condition. These wartime clocks were intended to slim down on brass usage, using only 7 pounds of brass per 1000 clocks instead of the normal 300 pounds. Just under 11 ounces overall weight. Beautiful piece of homefront memorabilia.
