We almost never see these WWII USMC P1942 reversable camouflage coats anymore. We just recently purchased this from the son of a Army veteran who said he brought this home to use for duck hunting. The coat is in comparitvely good condition. It has a number of areas where it has been repaired. The areas with repairs include the seam on the collar and the left armpit (with green camo showing). The armpit also has an area where the fabric is still ripped (about 4"). There are additionally small holes spread across the coat just from average wear. The back also exhibits some brown staining spread across the back. There are also two names written in the collar of the brown camo. These are extremely rare coats to find in any condition.
