This is a very nice WWI US 1912 Springfied Arsenal Bolo knife.  Serial number 19391 and dated 1912.  The knife has an overall nice patina with some scattered dark spots.  The spine of the blade has some typical dings where it appears someone was using it as a hammer.  The scabbard is in excellent shape dated 1918 and manufactured by Fred Medart Mfg. Co.  Overall nice set with an early 1912 dated blade.
