This is in overall good, serviceable, used condition with signs of honest use. This is maker stamped and dated "Boyt 44." This was originally a brown leather holster that was in service postwar and dyed black to fit military regulation. The leather is still supple and malleable. The wire hanger, stitching and rivets are all solidly attached. The embossed "US" on the front closure is still prominent.
