WWI German/Prussian Erzatz enlistedman's spike helmet. This is the felt substitute made during the mass mobilization in 1915. Basic condition is good to very good and it displays very well with no body damage. There is separation at the stitch lines on the rear visor which can be seen but remains strong due to the spine. There is also similar separation occurring on the front visor stitch line which can be easily repaired and is mostly hidden by the chinstrap, which is a replacement. All the rest is original.
