UF-244. WWI U.S. Army First Aid Packet mfg. by Wilford Hall Laboratories, May 1917 Contract (^1)
Item #6845
Interesting medic training aid from the Great War. These 2 ½ x 4 ½ x 3 ¾ cardboard boxes contain two large rolled bandages with compresses that could be reused (for training). These bandages are much larger than the individual dressings issued to the typical infantryman. The box labels display well and have detailed instructions on the reverse. Although most are still sealed some have been opened or the thin paper seals have split with age! Condition ranges from good to very good. They will show some storage wear, age and or water staining. We have shown the most distressed examples, most are better but no guarantees.
