FXP-0001 WWI French Poster L'Emprunt De La Liberation (Subscription Loan for the liberation of France) 1916
Item #20997
This WWI French Poster LEMPRUNT DE LA LIBERATION, (Subscription Loan for the
liberation of France) was painted by Jules Abel Faivre (1867-1945) in 1916. The poster is depicting a Prussian soldier kneeling down and holding a
broken sword as if surrendering to the allied forces represented here by a
forward motion of allied flags. The poster itself is in fair condition with a number of tears at the folds but is attached the to background fabric material. Nevertheless the poster displays beautifully in this frame. These posters will retail in the $600 to $1000 range depending upon the condition so here is your chance to own a rare print that was produced during the war. The size is 48" wide by 32" tall. Please keep in mind that shipping cost will be high due to the size and weight of this poster. Please send us an email with your location and we would be glad to give an estimate.
