UF-084, Mexican Punitive Expedition / WWI US M1903 Cartridge Belt
Item #16165
9 Pocket, 2nd pattern belt with "puckered" pockets to protect against wear from the then new pointed bullets. This khaki belt is in Very Good condition. The color is good and it shows light age and wear with no issues. All the rimless eagle snaps are present and working. No maker markings (just patent dates on the brass belt ends). Issue stamps were blanked out before it was originally stored for reissue nearly 100 years ago. These belts were replaced by the 1910 model but were still in limited use with some units up into WWI.
