Item #19260

This one was made by Haco, Berlin. Overall Good+ condition. The scabbard has a few dings and scratches and most of the anodization has worn off. All fittings remain, but the tip of the scabbard is dinged and overall shows light patina. The hanger is intact, but the leather is cracking on the surface and shows age. The blade shows the typical rail marks and shows light patina and "fingerprint" marks throughout. There are also some very tiny nicks in the blade edge that are so small they do not show up in the photos. The crossguard is marked "P". The wooden grip is in Very Good condition, but shows age to the wood and some light color fading. There are some small nicks in the wood grips. The embedded eagle shows light patina and discoloration from age. The pommel fitting is very tight, and the wood grip is also very tight to the blade. This leads me to believe that it has not been removed in quite some time, and that this is the correct grip to the blade. This is a great looking dagger. It came to us from the estate of a US Third Army Veteran.
