SALE UWG-0773-JEG WWII Era Lifeboat Emergency Sextant

This rare sextant was made in the early 1940's for emergency lifeboat use during WWII. the scale is graduated every degree from -5 to +140 and read by vernier to 3 minutes of arc. The box is marked "US Maritime Commission" and "Cruver MFG. Co." It is complete and in excellent condition. Contains sextant, two pens, an eraser, notepad, compass, parallel ruler, and maps dated 1944.
